F/O G.F. Pritchard was the captain aboard this aircraft that was lost after ditching in the North Sea following an attack on Kiel on 16/17 August 1944. F/O Pritchard was one of seven who lost their lives. Sgt, E.A.J. Proud became a Prisoner of War.
