A Conversation with Father Lardie

John Lardie was the padre at RCAF Station Middleton St. George, the home of 419 and 428 RCAF bomber squadrons. The video was produced for the National Air Force Museum of Canada. In it, he tells the story of how he went along on some raids until his superiors found out about it. Father Lardie wrote the inscription that is incorporated into Canada’s Bomber Command Memorial at the entrance to the museum.
