Murray’s book, 'A Thousand Shall Fall', is generally considered to be the best first-person account written by a Canadian Bomber Command pilot. It includes his training with the BCATP as well as his operational time flying Stirlings with 214 Sqn and Fortresses with 101 Sqn. In this interview, Murray recounts several episodes from the book.
