Wings on Her Shoulder

A National Film Board production, the video tells the story of the RCAF’s ‘Womens’ Division’. 9000 Canadian women were involved, serving across Canada and overseas. The video is narrated by Lorne Greene, a legendary CBC journalist and broadcaster who went on to play ‘Pa Cartright’ in the highly popular Bonanza television series that ran from 1959 to 1973.
