Halifax Files

Tom Palmer was a 635 Squadron veteran. He travelled from his home in British Columbia and volunteered at the museum for a week or so during the summers of the early 1990's.

Tom also accumulated a huge amount of information regarding Canadian Halifax and Lancaster operations which he passed along to our museum archives.

Tom's Halifax file relates only to the Halifax Mk. III/VII variant that was powered by the Bristol Hercules 14 cylinder radial engine and may be accessed below. It is presented largely as the museum received it during the late 1990's and is likely not in the final form that Tom intended. That being said, there is a huge amount of information in this file (including thousands of names) that may be of use.
