School and Group Visits

The Bomber Command Museum welcomes visits by students. Educators can use the museum as an extension of the classroom to enhance their teaching of history and the science of flight.      Please keep in mind that our museum is a volunteer operated, non-government facility that relies on admission charges, donations, and gift shop sales for our operations.      Often, schools combine tours of our museum with visits to Fort Macleod, the Bar U National Historic Site, the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Centre, the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre, or to the Museum of Miniatures in Nanton. We ask for the following information: Date of Visit Number of Students Arrival time Would you like a guided tour? Any special needs? Number of adults Duration of visit What would you like the focus of the guided tour to be? We will confirm receipt of your request by telephone or email. One adult supervisor for every eight students please. ADMISSION CHARGES $5.00 per student (includes guided tour and access into the Lancaster's interior) No charge for bus drivers and chaperones with a ration of 1:10.
