Very similar in appearance to the Fleet Fawn, the Fleet Finch was a further development of the Fawn design that was built between 1939 and 1941. It was powered by the five cylinder, Kinner B-5 radial engine. 431 Fleet Finches were built at Fort Erie, Ontario and used to train pilots at BCATP EFTS's in Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick during the early years of the war, prior to being phased out and replaced by the Fairchild Cornell.
