Aircraft of the BCATP

The Bolingbroke was a Canadian-built version of the Bristol Blenheim IV light bomber. There were three versions made, including a floatplane. After early RCAF service on coastal patrol during which a Japanese submarine was attacked and possibly destroyed, Bolingbrokes served through the war as bombing and gunnery trainers and as target tugs in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
